Ruth E. Carter is one of the most renowned and celebrated costume designers working today. In addition to her wins for Black Panther and Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, she has been nominated for two other Oscars and an Emmy. She has costumed more than forty films over the course of three decades. She lives in Los Angeles.
Danai Gurira, who played Okoye in Black Panther, is a Zimbabwean-American actress, playwright, and activist.
